The boys have by far had there best season. Everyone of them has performed to a high level and produced some very consistant performances. Me and Dave when we took over 3 seasons ago wanted to make the lads hard to beat and at this level be able to compete. Not only did they acheive that but promotion followed and 2011/2012 wil see the boys face some very good teams. I am sure the lads will perform very well and not be starstruck. They are a down to earth bunch who take things in their stride. The season started with defeat against Penwortham Town who played really well. The second game saw us take on Ripon Reds and as new comers to 11 a side we ran out 4-0 winners. Max scored 2 goals which seemed to give us the confidence to then go to Penwortham St Teresas and win 8-0!!

The season from here picked up win after win. In the reverse fixture Pen St Teresas found themselves 3-2 up and in previous seasons the lads would of probably lost but their attitude for football saw them get back in front and go on to win 6-3. A strong performance and different to what we had produced all season. From here the lads grew and grew and no one could stop us. 9 wins on the bounce!! 9 clean sheets!! 19 goals consceded!! If our run would come to an end I guessed it would be Ribble Wanderers, a strong and organised team who played the game of their lives. A win at Eccleston saw Lostock promoted, in the final game of the season the boys travelled to the Champions Hoole Utd and came away with a 2-1 win. If only canaries hadn't of resigned maybe the final game of the season would have been a winner takes all.

After winning promotion the lads should feel confident and able to have another good season.
